1938 TYPE 3 PHOTO OF HALL OF FAMER BABE RUTH!!-Full Letter Of Authentication from PSA/DNA!Vintage wire photo capturing Babe Ruth at the plate during a pregame contest exhibition at Sportman's Park in circa 1938. Certified as an original Type III photograph by PSA/DNA (photo was made off an AP wire transmission). Ruth is pictured as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers in a mighty swing-through pose. Two original newspaper clippings appear on the reverse as well as a "Evening Bulletin" credit stamp. A date stamp of "Sep 20 1974" and a few additional editorial notations also appear on the reverse. The photo (8 x 9.5 inches) has moderate creasing, a white sticker affixed to the front, and a chipped lower-left corner. In Fair condition overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
